SURYA YOGA STUDIO

Students are guided through a series of yoga postures (asana), through instruction & demonstration. Each asana will be offered with modifications that will be appropriate to your individual physical needs. Yoga is non-competitive & each student is encouraged to practice safely within their own limits.  Breathing exercises (pranayama) are an integral part of a yoga class & movement is initiated by the breath. At the end of the class there will be a relaxation period, lying down (savasana).

 

CLASSES ARE DIVIDED INTO LEVELS

Level 1

Suitable for all students from absolute beginners to advanced.
Dynamic, static & restorative poses.

Level 2

Vinyasa, flowing sequences, for example sun salutations & variations.

Level 3

Power yoga is a strong practice with vinyasa, challenge poses & transitions.
